Pachthof 1860 is a luxury 5-star holiday home located in the picturesque Sint-Laureins-Berchem. We are more than happy to share our space with our guests. Peace and quiet are extremely important to us, which is why we do not accommodate noisy groups focused on alcohol, partying, and loud music. The property is perfect for groups of up to 25 people (sleeping up to 23 adults max.) who wish to enjoy the peace of nature and the beautiful view close to Brussels, while also appreciating the modern comfort of a renovated farmhouse. A place to share cozy moments together and create wonderful memories. Every season here has its own unique charm.

The holiday home forms part of an authentic square-shaped farmhouse. The owners live in a separate wing, allowing you to enjoy private and comfortable accommodation whilst having a trusted point of contact nearby. The house is rented to only one group at a time. Young and old will quickly feel at home here.

On the ground floor, you will find a fully equipped kitchen centered around cooking together, with spacious dining tables and a cozy lounge area featuring a pool table. There is also a wood-burning stove that provides extra cosiness on chillier days and evenings. To relax indoors, there are plenty of board games such as UNO, Rummikub, and Twister, as well as card games and a play tunnel for the little ones. On the first floor, you will find two cozy seating areas where you can retreat for a moment.

There’s plenty to do outdoors too. Guests can enjoy a football goal, a volleyball net, a Spikeball set and a pétanque court.

Six spacious bedrooms are spread over two floors. Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and a separate toilet, which is ideal for those who value comfort and privacy.

The region has something for every type of cyclist: from relaxed recreational rides and scenic e-bike routes to challenging tracks for road cyclists, gravel bikers, and mountain bikers. What's more, you will be staying right in the backyard of the historic Gaasbeek Castle. Beyond culture and history, you can indulge in regional flavours at traditional local gueuze breweries, with vibrant Brussels just around the corner.

Prefer exploring the Pajottenland by car and driving an electric vehicle? You can easily recharge your car afterwards in our spacious private parking area. End your day on the terrace with a game of pétanque while soaking in the breathtaking, sweeping views of the region.
